Luc Paul, 14 -- My dad taught me little things, like how to patch tires and put them on bikes. Then I started fixing chains and all the bicycle parts. I made, like, seven bikes in a month. I grabbed seven bodies from the dump, and I had fourteen tires. Sold five of them for fifteen to thirty bucks.

Hi,

I am a Walrus subscriber. I haven't read through all articles yet in this issue on the North, but was immediately drawn to your photo essay. Would be an interesting community to experience, with all its hopes, attractions and drawbacks. I really liked the shot of the young women at the table in the video store.
